新GRE填空题型分为两种，一种是2-3个空，各3个选项；另一种是1个空，5个选项。对于单空单选题，主要依靠阅读和逻辑分析的角度来考虑整段意思与单空之间的联系，推断填空词的大体含义和感彩，从而选出正确的选项。
  对于单空双选题的解题思路，与上面的单空单选题类似，**的差别就是多了同义词辨析，所以，可以从词汇理解与逻辑关系角度来分析选项。对于多空多选题，因为空的内容偏多，致使部分考生认为逻辑混乱，产生答题困难。
